Series rover windscreens fold forward onto the spare tire for low profile and full air flow. This makes accessing the seals or changing the glass much easier. The rubber seal along the top of the windscreen below the roof came away with a minimal amount of cleaning but one at the bottom of the windscreen next to the dash/bulkhead was fairly perished and had split into two parts stuck firmly onto the vehicle above and below.
After much scraping and cleaning, and even more picking up chunks and dust all over the interior and bonnet, the top and bottom of the windscreen are clean and ready for new seals. The door seals are riveted on to the sides and have yet to be removed.
